Christmas lights and Black Friday!!!!!

A few days ago my Dad put up our Christmas lights. They're very pretty! On Black Friday, my Mom and I went to two different Targets and got a lot of our Christmas shopping done. After a while I got hungry so I got a snack at Target. We got great deals. It was a lot of fun!!! Even though shopping and Christmas lights and Christmas trees are a lot of fun!!! The true meaning of Christmas is Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is you know what, Thanksgiving!!! We have our friends over and we are feasting although the feasting has not just ended, yet....lol... dessert is on the way!!!! Who-hoo!!! We had turkey, stuffing, gravy and mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce made by my friend Jasmine....mmmm, green beans and last but not least a sweet potato casserole. Before we ate we all gathered round and said one thing or one long thing...lol, we were thankful for. We are going to have chocolate cheesecake and pumpkin cupcakes for dessert, which will hopefully be soon. I am enjoying this Thanksgiving and thanking God for it!

Shopping

Today I shopped and it was a lot of fun! We had some coupons and got some great deals, which makes shopping easier...lol. I started on my Christmas shopping. The gift or should I say gifts is creative, its a gift basket. It's a suprise Christmas gift for .... well lets not say....lol. We had some of yesterday's mac and cheese for lunch and we picked up some cupcakes...mmmmmmm.

Wow! I never dreamed the idea of maybe trying to make some cupcakes for an adoption fundraiser would be so successful! I am so grateful to God for the idea and we are so grateful to everyone who has ordered our cupcakes (some of you week after week!). In 6 weeks we have raised about $4,000.00. Can you believe it? God is so amazing to provide for us in this way.
I have friends that come help me bake, deliver, clean and box! My friend Wendy helps me bake sometimes over 30 dozen in a single day! My sister Chantel makes deliveries to the school. We load her minivan full of cupcake deliveries and she parks in the parking lot and passes them out! So fun!!!

Cooking Fun!!!

Today my Mom and I made cookies, to be exact pumpkin chocolate delights. Mmmmm!
We made it with this recipe. We kind of added our own touch to the recipe...lol.
Pumpkin Chocolate Delights:
3 eggs
 1/2 tbsp. baking soda             1 1/2 cups all purpose baking flour
 15oz. can of pumpkin             3/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 tsp. salt                             Bake on 375 degrees, on a cookie sheet,    
1 cup brown sugar                  for 10 min. let them cool
2 sticks butter                              1-3 min. Enjoy!!!!!!
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2  cup whole wheat
